Energy Audits for the Home

The most important tool for doing audits is the blower door.

This one is using the small fan.  The house tested at 2.21 ACH50 and built to the 2015 Energy Code that is now in effect in Lewiston. 

This is the pressure/flow gauge and motor controller. The test is run from an app on the iphone and generates a report. Using the current building code as a baseline instead of one chosen arbitrarily by an energy software program will make the audit more relevant and less confusing.
